NEW! Mosaic with Photo
This new three hour class allows students to incorporate their own photo or print imagery into unique mosaic creations. Students are encouraged to bring in a favorite photo or photos approx 4"x6" size that can be used in this project. Family members, children or even pets make great subject matter. We will have a selection of recycled clear glass tiles we call "ice cube" that allow photos to be mounted and included into a finished mosaic project. As this class is somewhat involved due to the various techniques demonstrated students will be leaving class with grout provided to complete this step of the piece at home. All materials (other than the photo) will be provided, $65- limit to 6 participants.

Intro to Mosaic
Explore the basic tenets of creating art from chunks of glass, as oppsed to lines or brushstrokes. We'll discuss the basic topics of substrates, adhesives, tesserae, and grouting an art panel for interior display within the first hour. Spend the remainder of the class practicing how to leverage color, tonal value, and design strategies in your own small art panel project. No prior experience necessary.

Glass-on-Glass
Explore the basic materials and techniques used to apply stained glass mosaic to glass substrates. No prior experience necessary. $75, Limit 6 participants.

Mixed Media Mosaic
Learn basic principles for combining mixed media elements such that your finished creations contain tension and interest without being chaotic. (I also call this course "Making Art That Doesn't Look Like Stew," and credit my friend Brooks Tower for the stew analogy.) Prior mosaic experience recommended.$65

NEW! Mirror Mosaic
This three hour class will have you creating a beautiful and functional art piece. We will cut mirrior and design a decorative frame using standard tesserae. Will will provide all materials needed including a selection of mirror, mosaic and tumbled glass, and the required mounting board. Prior mosaic experience not required. $75, Limit 6 participants.

Tired of the same holiday decorations or looking for inexpensive and easy to make gifts? This two hour class has students using simple glass on glass mosaic techniques to create pieces that can be lit from within by small votive candles. We'll have a selection of recycled vases, glasses, and glassware for your choosing. Make one or make a small set. All materials provided, no experience required. $55-, Limit 8 participants.
